Prayer & Worship
We worship God every day, and it is this worship that defines us as a community of faith and love. Worship at Saint Mark's always acknowledges that God's invitation to draw near brings us deep into the mystery of his love. You don't need any skills, knowledge or insight to worship with us. You don't need to know the right words or what to do with your hands. You don't even have to know why you have come to worship God. All you need is a heart that desires to be in God's presence.

Prayer at Saint Mark's
In addition to our corporate prayer during worship services, we at St. Mark's also practice personal prayer. We try to spend time each day in converstion with God - at home, work, or school; alone or with our families; in times of need or in times of great celebration. You are always welcome to use the church, when it is open, as a place for your own prayers and encounters with God.
St. Mark's also keeps an active list of those parishioners, friends, and family members who are in need of particular prayer. If you would like to add a name to the parish prayer list, please contact a member of the clergy or the parish office.
